MRF Eticket installation procedure

a. Install printer driver

Download the driver and install it:

- For Windows 11:

b. Set up printer

c. Install scanner driver

Download the driver and install it:

d. Update driver

i. Go to device manager and find the installed device with question mark

ii. Right click the device and update the driver

iii. Browser local computer and find the correct document in the linked folder:

e. Check device status

Make sure the device is ready to use – the question mark disappeared

f. Install GPS driver

i. Download and install the USB driver

ii. Download and install the location sensor driver

g. Install software

Install the e-ticket software v5.7.2

For silent install, use: mrfecsetup5.7.5 /dir=[directory] /verysilent

Ex. mrfecsetup5.7.5 /dir="e:\ec" /verysilent

Change setup file version number if you are using a different version. /dir is optional

Use /log for troubleshooting. E.g. mrfecsetup5.7.5.exe /dir="e:\ec" /verysilent /log=setup3.txt

a. Test printer

i. Go to setting and print a test page

ii. Create a dummy ticket and print the ticket from Review page

b. Test GPS

i. Make sure the GPS is plugged in

ii. On the Offence page, click GPS to fetch GPS location. The coordinates should be auto populated to the text input.

c. Test Scanner

i. Make sure the scanner is plugged in - indicator is in Green

ii. On the Offender page, scan the driver license and click ‘retrieve the scanned information’
